CANOEING WITH THE GIRLS
Yes, this is a canoe. My husband bought this sometime in June and he put it to good use. When my husband says, he wants something, he will buy it, no matter what. Even if it means, he would sell some old stuff at the Fleamarket, so he doesn't touch our grocery money. My husband loves to go fishing with the kids. I don't, since I get bored. Evey weekend is daddy's fishing schedule and the kids alternately go with him. Since the canoe is small, there can only be 3 people at one time. One in the front, one in the middle and one in the back. The front and the back persons are the ones who need to paddle so the canoe would move and go wherever you want to go. Last weekend was Wrozlie's turn to go fishing with Daddy, but since, she cannot paddle yet, they brought Kelsie with them. They had fun but only one big catfish to bring home.
This is my good looking hubby who loves to fish and loves to feed me with his catch :)

.
Look Mom! fish for you!!
The fish looked too small, I wonder if they threw it back to the water, or is it a bait?
Hubby looked too serious while fishing. I bet, he was getting irritated because not a lot of fish in the area.
What are those orange things? I don't know if you ask me, I don't fish :)
Finally, a catch! Go Baby!!! They came home and cooked their fish and next weekend would be a Louisiana trip for all of us..

SUMMER OF 2008
*Re-post from summer of 2008
Since I am transferring my old most treasured posts from way back when I first started blogging, I will be posting old posts on this new blog site that I created. I cannot just let go of my wonderful memories with my family.
SUMMER, The usually warmest season of the year, occurring between spring and autumn and constituting June, July, and August in the Northern Hemisphere. I cannot believe that SUMMERTIME is almost over. We really didn't do much this time since Rodney got sent to Alabama that first week of May, until the second week of July. We did have great time though before the children went back to school.
We had the 2 girls for 3 weeks this summer and they just went back to Knoxville today, August 9th. Their Grandparents came and pick them up. We did a little celebration for Kattie's advance Birthday party, just cake, ice cream and we grilled out.
Kattie's 11th Birthday celebration.
We went to a water park in Hopkinsville, Kentucky as summer tradition for the children. They had the greatest time. They wanted to stay longer, but I was already toasted and sometimes, you don't want to over do it, so that they have something to look forward to next summer.
Rodney and Wrozlie having a Father and daughter moment.
Mommy and Roan having fun.
We weren't able to do our yearly fishing, since we ran out of time. My in-laws from New York came down for a 6-day vacation, and Rodney spent time with the kids on his last week vacation. We just did the best we can to have fun this summer. The kids rode their tractors and did a lot of swimming on their pool (I don't have picture though).
I guess, that's about it for this season..Looking forward to Autumn (Halloween and Thanksgiving). Then, Christmas? Wahhhh!! more expenses to come...Anyways, all I can say is..we had great time and looking forward to go to Chicago next year and be with my aunt.. How did you spend your summer vacation? I know that in some states, they don't start school until the first week of September..Enjoy, while it lasts...
Just an FYI..this girl wasn't me..We kind of look alike, but..nah! more weight to lose and I guess, I will get there..(I need to keep dreaming..)

I AM BACK!
I guess this is the _th time that I had this title on my post. The only difference is, I created a brand new blog. I started blogging since 2008 and it was really fun. I met a lot of great people that became my friends, I met some of them and until now we are still keeping in touch.
I also made money by blogging for couple of years. This time, I am focusing on just having fun while doing what I love to do best, writing about my simple life.
I will definitely write new posts, but will also transferring my most treasured posts from my old blog sites. I have five websites and it wasn't easy to keep them updated. Aside from I have younger kids to take care of, I am also an avid fan of Korean dramas :)
I do hope that this time, I will be true to my words. Whether I admit it or not, I miss writing and blog hopping and just bragging about my loved ones.
Well, I will see you all again next time and I am looking forward to your visit.
Have a great day to all!
